Keto Garlic Butter Steak Bites
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
- 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp dried thyme
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steak Bites:
- Pat the steak cubes dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried thyme.
2. Cook the Steak Bites:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak cubes in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
- Sear for 2-3 minutes without stirring, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes for medium-rare or longer for desired doneness.
- Remove the steak bites and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
- Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
4. Serve and Garnish:
- Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice (if using), and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot with a side of roasted vegetables or cauliflower mash.
