Keto Cheese Crisps

These crunchy, cheesy crisps are an easy, low-carb snack that’s perfect for satisfying your cravings without breaking your keto diet!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese like Parmesan or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Fresh herbs, like rosemary or thyme (optional, for a savory touch)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent the crisps from sticking.

2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.

3. Form the Crisps:

  • Use a spoon to drop small mounds (about 1 tablespoon each) of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each mound. Gently flatten each mound with the back of the spoon to create a small round shape.
  • Optionally, sprinkle a little bit of fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme on top for extra flavor.

4. Bake the Cheese Crisps:

  • Bake the cheese mounds in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep a close eye on them, as they can burn quickly.

5. Cool and Serve:

  • Remove the cheese crisps from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. Once they are cool enough to handle, carefully lift them off with a spatula and transfer them to a plate.
